    January, 2016 -- We are happy to announce the signing of 2016 NFL Draft eligible WR JON SCHNAARS (6030/210), out of East Stroudsburg University (PA). Jon is an impressive player, role model and leader off the field.

    Schnaars led DII wide receivers in receptions (10.4 per game), yards (146.4 ypg) and touchdowns (22), pulling in 114 catches for 1,610 yards, in 11 games.this season. He has been dominating Wide Receiver and making plays throughout his entire ESU career.

    Career Summary

    Schnaars set ESU's career record for receptions (239), ranks third in yards (3,447) and second in TD (45) - ranking in the top 10 in PSAC history in all three categories (5th in receptions, 8th in yards and t-5th in TD).

    2015 Season
    In 2015, Jon was selected to 3 First Team All American Teams as well as Academic All American Team. Jon had 114 receptions for 1610 yards. Also had 22 TD's with one TD pass for 66 yards. Schnaars had 100 yards receiving in 9 of 11 games, including three 200-yard games. Had 218 yards and 7 TD's in a 69-67 (5OT) loss vs. Shippensburg which set PSAC records.

    2014 Season
    Academic All-America 2nd team selection, Academic All-District 1st team, All-PSAC East 2nd team at wide receiver. Had 58 catches, 807 yards and 14 TD which led ESU in all 3 categories. Jon ranked 2nd in PSAC and t-6th in DII with 14 TD catches (led PSAC in regular season) ... tied ESU record with 14 catches at Shippensburg (152 yards, 2 TD in 37-33 win). Had TD catch in final 7 games, and 10 of 11 games overall. Enters senior year ranked 14th in catches (125), 16th in yards (1,837) and 6th in TD (23).

    2013 Season - Sophomore
    Played in all 11 games and made 10 starts ... ESU's 2nd-leading receiver with 51 catches, 718 yards and 8 TD. 9th in PSAC in receiving (65.3 ypg). Had two 100-yard games, 9 catches, 124 yards vs. Clarion, 5 catches, 118 yards vs. Lock Haven, 4 catches, 86 yards, 3 TD (42, 17 and 13 yards) vs. Millersville. Had 4 punt returns for 45 yards (long of 23 vs. Millersville). Had 3rd-most receptions and 4th-most receiving yards by an ESU sophomore in 40 seasons under Denny Douds.

    2012 Season-True Freshman
    Played in all 10 games, had 16 catches for 312 yards and 1 TD. Was 4th on team in receiving yards and caught a pass in 7 of the last 8 games.
